The broadness of my mind and the narrowness of my waist hadn't swapped places back then. I had hair, I was pretty, I was fast, I was a baa-aad maa-aan.

Seeing the Pistols on top of the pops . 1977 was a great year to be a teenager if you were into music.
Getting a job when I was 18 . I'd never had money & from that day on I have made sure I (& now my family) never visit that place again.

Being floored and having a pint poured over me in a Glasgow goth disco. Had unwittingly been dancing with some psycho's girlfriend (I remember she was wearing black lacey holdups)
Then couldn't get up off the floor because of high heels on my boots.
Rooftops is well gone now :(

School wasn't that great, but sixth form was fantastic. Met lots of new people, including a load of impeccably bred privately-educated**s who had been kicked out of their school and had to come to the local college. Parties, gigs, driving, taking classes off to play Pro Evo at our mate's house, going to the pub after lessons on a Friday with our History tutor, happy days.
