I started taking vitamins around 5 years ago and have felt a lot healthier since. I have very few colds, never had flu and my all round health has improved.

If you listen to the so called experts they say you don't need to take any supplements.

Only if 17 million people suddenly develop scurvy. Otherwise no, they can't.

How naive.
The system works by the NHS prescibing and ordering millions of pounds of drugs from the drugs companies which will be owned or controlled by cronies of powerful people in the Government.
Imagine the back hander if you are the Minister for health and you can suggest that all people over 60 can have the flu jab.
Got to be worth a bob or two dont you think?
A lot more than suggesting they take a few vitamins every day.

Betfairians and others who never see the light of day would benefit from vitamin D supplements.

Get outside for an hour a day or get vitamin D. Looking at the sky through glass doesn't count, you're not outside when you're in your car.

^^ hanging your arm out of the window for 20 minutes on a sunny day is sufficient

The government bend over backwards suggesting we take a few vitamins a day. In food.
Report rustyboy November 22, 2009 10:49 PM GMT
i think its a good idea.

It cant do harm, and you can pick up cheap vits for about £1.
Report sparkmaster. November 22, 2009 10:50 PM GMT
They're a bit cheaper than that!
Report rustyboy November 22, 2009 11:09 PM GMT

Report sparkmaster. November 22, 2009 11:12 PM GMT
No...they're just...fruit and veg.

The 3 vitamins that can save the NHS billions are BNP!
Report bodil November 22, 2009 11:50 PM GMT
Cod liver oil for the myelin sheaths of your neurons and forget the rest. What would save the NHS multi-billions is us giving up alcohol, cigarettes and processed food. Compulsory euthanasia at age 70 would save even more.
