Hello. :)

Is it true that Foster's needs to be served in a Foster's glass for you to get a proper pint of it? Something to do with the rings at the bottom of the glass, or the shape of the glass itself, which lets the necessary science happen, whatever that is. Gas bubbles or something.

Any idea? I'm not fishing.

I think Foster's is just sh.t whatever.

Quite a few branded glasses have this engraving or painting on the bottom of the glass on the inside so that the bubbles form easier and the pint looks more alive.

The same effect can be achieved with a dirty glass.

So it's purely aesthetical. Thanks EGG.

Not that I drink it of course. Like all Chit Chatters the drink is beneath me. ;)

Who the fack drinks all the Fosters then ?

It's the biggest selling lager in any Scottish Courage distribution centre in the UK.

It must be the nation's WAGs that buy Foster's. They must like the adverts, and it's cheap (when on offer or not), so it's the perfect choice for them when they do the shopping.

As far as they know, MAN WITH BEER = HAPPY.

They don't know we have preferences unless we tell them. ;)

I had a fosters on a night out once... was seething at the mate who bought me it, good job it was late in the night.

I think you need to weigh up whether you still need him as a friend. That level of absent-mindedness might be acceptable on a night out, but what else might come from it? You don't want to be disappointed in the future over something quite important that he fûcked up on.

I'd jettison him. It's the safest thing to do.

I bought 4 cans of that Fosters with a widget in when they first came out about 2 years ago.

I was was intending to try the Krony with the widget and it was only when I got home I realised my mistake. I blamed Asdas for the display with both brands next to each other, Scottish Courage for the similar blue cans, and everyone except myself.

I still have those 4 cans of out of date Fosters.
