but if you have been banned or self excluded they would have details surely

Some people use different accounts for different types of betting.

I have one account for winning bets and another for losers.

so if i get another bank account with new card i can open another account sorry if im being thick lads just interested

the only details they have that have to be real are your credit card details

my m8 self excluded 2 times they wrote him a letter saying its a life time ban so you are saying new card new account no problems thank for your help

New card and a different email address could work imo.

i just cant see how as you will have a billing address they would find this out and shut it anyway

You can have as many accts as you like. Betfair allow it. You don't have to get round anything.
Self-excluding may prove to be an obstacle though.

why would they want to turn down custom just for a little mistake under a certain username, that would be a bad move imo......

sonko a ban is a ban once they send the letter saying you have big problems in there opinion for sure thats it cant really understand it myself as we are betting against others really

why would they send you a letter?? it will be by email......

he had a letter in black and white he could not believe it as you say he was checking emails then the letter arrived harsh i think

So what made them decide he was 'in trouble' as far as im aware betfair never do cred checks etc and 1000 is a very small amount (in the grand scheme of things).

he lost about 600 first time self excluded so has 6 months of then 400 second time self excluded again about 2 months after it being reopened now it does seem he has a problem i suppose but does seem a bit harsh

im amazed they banned for such an amount (think my account is somewhere in the region of 30k in the red due to arbs in earlier years) yet havent heard anything. I guess if you self exclude they have to act on it.

yes i said 2 self exclusions was alot really in a short time i said just send a email to see if they will leave it a year and re think there decision

Well in answer to your question normally yes you can get another account on same address with a different card... if in your friends case that would be a good idea is another matter.. and i believe betfair do link the accounts anyway so if one is excluded i would guess the other one wouldnt be around for long either. If he chose to self exclude twice its probably the best thing to stay excluded.
