A couple of months ago I seem to recall there was some important update carried out within the world of Freeview which meant that some people lost stations, and had to retune equipment to restore them.

I have one of those Panasonic DVD Recorders which came with some sort of built-in Freeview, which I don't often use but it's good if I want to record something on Freeview Satellite, and watch something on Sky.

Just been whizzing through the stations on the Freeview option, and the feed for the all-important ITV4 and ITV3 have gone missng, just blank screens.

Naturally I'd like them back. Tried going to the Freeview website to see how to retune, but I can't find any advice pertaining to equipment like this, only for Freeview boxes.

Has anyone else been through this successfully? If so please advise how. Much appreciated.

Going well so far, various familiar station names coming into view, including the super-critical Babestation.

Alun, just make sure you have ITV4.

You don't want to miss Muttley go into full on finger lickin' mode against Barney!

FOUND IT

Ye Gods, ITV4 has moved to Channel 803 from around 32. That's one hell of a change.

Tezez - keep this very quiet, but I will be having a quiet word with Her Majesty about issuing you with some sort of gong in her next Honours List.

Very well done.

Are you in the Granada region, alun? Or a region going through the transition? Anyway, someone once posted on here that the 800 channels are 'holding channels', while things shift about (the entire process took four/five months for the Border region). A future re-tune will see ITV4 back in its proper slot.

Thanks. The set is in Thames Valley/Oxon.
