Train fares and council tax effect the price of lamb??
By:
I was talking about deflation
By:
It does if you buy the lamb on the train.
By:
if you raised it in your garden, and despatched the carcass by train it would have a significant impact imo.
but then again, i'm no economist. |
By:
why did the lamb only have half a leg? was it disabled?
By:
Welsh lamb was it?
By:
It would want to be Blessed by the Pope for that price
By:
App there is going to be a plethora of organic lamb for sale as wholesalers don't want to buy it so farmers are desperate - can't say i've noticed but you never know......

By:
The more expensive meats are now electronically tagged, after a trolley was half filled and rushed out of the door

The regional frozen food outlet up here is Farmfoods. They definitely do it. Iceland generally match them for price. I bought a frozen leg for under a tenner in Sainsbury's about a year ago.

4 bottles of gaymers cider, last week in asda £2.00, picked them up this week went through till expecting 2 quid, they are now 3.68, in a feckin week a 80% price increase, not going up my arris i bought some from asda last week for £2 for 4 and noticed yesterday they had gone up to £3.68 so didnt bother getting any from there, so daughter popped to tesco's and picked a few up for £2 there. |

thanks for the tip emr, how they can justify rises of that size is beyond me.
By:
i allways notice if they got anything on offer they put the price up big time after the offer.
By:
I can't think of a single thing that I use that has gone down in price - until this morning when the bloke who sells me bird seed said sunflower hearts had gone down in price. Well, prepare for raging deflation, I said to myself.
