The minimum wage here in Portugal has been increased 5.6% in 2009.
Which takes it up to..... €450..... a month.

Sometime in the future if I can't find a shotgun. Slightly less when I find a shotgun.

Or I could threaten to dribble on you.

Big Charlie ... last time i worked full time was March 2005 ,finished up working for 7.00 p/h .

Started the same job in March 2003 earning 21.00 p/h .

Reason for the reduction in wages ?

They changed the system after i found a quick way to make good money and the management couldn't stomach it . I was making more than them overnight.

There is no way to make an honest buck in the UK .

Thank heavens for BF ,you wont catch me moaning about the premium charge .

What's your most profitable sport mate?

I think we may need to exchange words in due course, once I've got my system up and running. :-)

Blimey Coach, if you're playing those and are on the PC charge, you're a shrewdie.

I've studied it for a good few years Canny plus i'm fortunate enough to be able to work out odds and numbers fairly quickly which helps a little i guess, especially when the goals go flying in and the odds change dramatically . :)

A little bit of judgement helps , sometimes odds just don't look right as you're well aware .

Went into a lot of debt that year ,still paying it off but almost there .

Sadly after 29 years the independent footwear trade is on its knees, unless there is an improvement next year it will more than likely be my last.
A shame in the respect a family buisness in the space of just a few years has basically gone to the wall.
I am hanging on more out of tradition & sentementality than anything out but those good attributes wont pay the bills as we all know, its bleak out there but I try not to let it affect me because though my pocket may be suffering I refuse to let it drag ME down with it.

Hi Toby, in the same market for over 50 years, though for 32 years in the position we are now.
20 years ago we had three saturday girls & me & my dad.
Now I can easily manage on my tod.
I have a brilliant photo of my grandad in the market from nearly 50 years ago, I will e-mail it to you if your interested.
