May I respectfully suggest you avoid a Phillips.

Or a Phillipino

Panasonic always is one of the best buys in the Indian version of Which magazine.

Hope this is of assistance.

Anyone got a Samsung? Like the look of them but seen several reviews for different models saying the sound quality isn't great

for £700 you would get a 40 or a 42 incher Panasonic

My Phillips HD is immense! but i paid a ridiculous amount for it. I reckon you should get an ambiemce one or whatever they're called, but they are 5K lol

panasonic

Samsung are good (or at least the later screens are). Can't go wrong with a panasonic or a sony. Just don't understand why you would pay £700 for a 32" though, you'd need to sit two foot away from it to appreciate the difference between a £350 one.

Get a decent 40/42" screen, look on richersounds.com or john lewis.

I paid 600 for a 32in Sony Bravia earlier this year.
I like it.

don't want to pay £700 - cheaper the better but wondered if worth paying the extra for LED type
Report Jimbo747 November 20, 2009 3:47 PM GMT
No, there are no 'proper' LED tvs at the moment, so don't be fooled by any of that marketing bull.
A decent plasma or LCD will be almost as good as an LCD with LED backlight, other than being an inch thicker.

Sony centre do a 7" OLED TV.

Costs £3500 though.

I have been looking for the same, the Sony 32w5500 seems to get pretty good reviews. The reviews don't seem to like this new Samsung LED thats just come out.

£700 for a 32". Crikey lol. You can get the 46" Panasonic Viera TX-P46G10B for £749 delivered and that's an awesome TV. If it MUST be a 32" then I wouln't be spending more than £450 for one as you can get a very good one for that or cheaper.

Some 32" ers :)

Make sure you keep looking at reviews for any you see so you don't end up with a naff one.

Panasonic plasma

Total quality :)

Mind you, my 2-year old Sony Bravia KDL40X2500 blew up a bit ago. Just replaced it with a Panny Viera 42" S10B and the buzzing noise is fkking awful (brightness related shiite and commonish problem with plasmas so I keep reading) :(
Report cunnybobbler November 20, 2009 4:30 PM GMT
go on amazon and read the reviews. then go on play.com and read some more reviews.

Cost-Co's good for TV's too btw and have a 5 year warranty (as do John Lewis) as standard.
