Good evening chit-chatters. As there are a few football fans on here I thought Id share this with you. Heres an alphabetical list of which clubs should really be in the Prem, based on history, reputation, kudos, fanbase & trophies. Thanks in advance for agreeing with me.

Arsenal
Aston Villa
Blackburn
Chelsea
Derby
Everton
Ipswich
Leeds
Liverpool
Man City
Man United
Newcastle
Nottingham Forest
Sunderland
Sheffield Wed
Tottenham
West Brom
West Ham
Wolves

(then its a toss-up between Bolton, Fulham, Middlesbrough, Palace, Portsmouth, Sheff U & Southampton for 20th place perhaps you could choose one for me)

Cheers :)

Maybe now Canary, but in terms of all-time stuff you're nowhere near the top 20 I'm afraid to say. Quickfure run of form in the 90s & a Milk Cup win in the 80s doesn't quite put you up there. I'd put you at about 30th, just behind the ones already listed.

I'm not disputing how well you're supported at the moment. 17th is excellent, especially for a League One club.

Massive club. Going through some hard times at the moment, but have always been well-supported, have played a lot of top tier football and won a few trophies along the way.

according to wikipedia:

Sheffield Wednesday Football Club (pronounced /ˈʃɛfild ˈwɛnzdeɪ, -di/)

The current twenty are the right clubs for the premiership. They are there on merit. How big you are or how good you were thirty years ago is irrelevant. If a club with big support cant do it with the advantage of better support and greater turnstyle revenue why do they deserve to be placed in the league. The joy of football is you are only as good as your last result. Clubs are where they are on merit and that is how it should be.

Mighty - correct, good point well made, but my Top 20 - as it states at the top of the thread - is based on history, reputation, kudos, fanbase & trophies. Just wondering which teams I've nominated are the most 'controversial'/open to debate.

For support i'd put Norwich top , but for everything else i would not put them in the top 20 , the list isn't far off imo .

Not sure about Fulham though

They did indeed, but they failed to sustain their early promise! Probably got conscripted into WW1 or something equally horrific :(
