I've got two spare Paul McCartney tickets for the very front block, floor level about twenty rows from the very front at the O2 three days before Christmas.

Anyone know how to go about getting a decent price for them. They were £137.50 each.

Cheers

these are really good tickets though so how much do you think I can expect. Never done this sort of thing before but why not make a nice profit?

You set the minimum that you will accept, also don't let the auction/sale run any longer than you have to.

I remember a few years back there were Rolling Stones tickets for Wembley on Ebay, for the front of one of the bits of the stage that go out into the crowd. I think the boy was clearing at least 450 quid for the pair of them.

Do you think they'd give me double the money seeing as it's one night only and the front block in front of the stage?

Filthy tout imo ;)

I had some tickets for Morrisey's 50th birthday gig that I sold on ebay - someone offered £220 so I closed the auction for the 1st pair. I let the auction run for the other pair I got £315. They cost me about £140 for the lot, so a heck of a profit, but I think I got really lucky that time.

Sign up for ebay, do a search then for 'Paul McCartney tickets London', then in the left hand column you will find a completed listings option. Look at that to see what similar tickets have sold for to get an idea.

I saw McCartney at Glastonbury - he was brilliant, you should have a great time.

Thanks for your help. Fair play to you and don't forget to green up on Joe and Danyl! (wink)

It might have been luck, although a lot of The Smiths/Morrissey fans are pretty obsessive.

Was just hoping that as they are front block and it's his only UK show that I might get a good few bob for them. Apparently it sold out in minutes.

Lou - I followed your advice to green up on Jamie and look where that got me! I'll take my chances for now. ;) gl with the tickets, be sure to let us know how you get on.

Yer sorry about that. Should still be in it for me but that's the way it goes I suppose.

Might call one of these ticket companies and see what they say.
