Late as in from 'The Dark Side of the Moon ' onwards.

I'm early, me. Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle.

Be careful with that axe, Eugene. Bit of both for me though I prefer DSOTM onwards...Animals is good...reminds me of getting my nose broke in a bit of a ruckus at a fairground...happy days.

I am unapologetically early, middle and late.

Following the path as it leads towards the darkness in the North....

And as I climb above the treeline and the clouds, I look down; hearing the sound of the things you said today

You *ucked up old hag ha ha charade you are.....

So I open the door to my enemies, and I ask can we wipe the slate clean; but they tell me to please go and *uck myself; you know you just can't win

Late. the Division bell being a particular favourite.

If Opel had been released when it was recorded, instead of two decades later, Barrett might have bounced back to stardom and rejoined the Floyd, and Dark Side Of The Moon onwards never have happened.

Early, lost interest after Emily and Arnold.

I'm a 1973-1977 person!

Like the older stuff too, but you won't get a better run of albums than Dark Side (73), Wish You Were Here (75) and Animals (77). You could go back to 71 for Meddle too, but then came Obscured by Clouds (72), which is not one of my favourites.

Can't stand the early, middle..or late
Report mitchell downie November 17, 2009 10:55 PM GMT
I thought Emily was great Dobbo, most of the rest seemed rather dull to me.
Report Dobbo November 17, 2009 10:56 PM GMT
I saw them live a dozen times. Painful
Report bodil November 17, 2009 11:00 PM GMT
Late has the weight. I guess they were getting older and whining about it in a pleasant enough way.
Report mitchell downie November 17, 2009 11:05 PM GMT
That's a lot of attendances to realise they were painful Dobbo.
Report Dobbo November 17, 2009 11:08 PM GMT
They were the house band at a club I liked to go to. later they played at the Roundhouse two or three times which was another place I liked to go. I just had to put up with them
Report mitchell downie November 17, 2009 11:13 PM GMT
ah, that explains it. :-)
Report Dobbo November 17, 2009 11:14 PM GMT
They usually played the graveyard shift to get the punters to leave.
Report mitchell downie November 17, 2009 11:28 PM GMT
you must be going back to 65ish.

Obscured by Clouds wasn't one of my favourites although I did see the film 'La Vallée' which didn't help ...... first Pink Floyd album I owned was Soundtrack from the film 'More' .... next was 'Meddle' in which I particularly liked 'One Of Those Days'.

Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall are possibly the albums I enjoy the most ................ I like Roger Waters stuff best.

Oh, come on. They've done some of the finest - for people with brains - songs of all time. If you're sort of middle-upper class educated brits.
