But sadly not anymore..these days im usually watching tv, playing scrabble on fbook, and luring women into my lair via m/s/n. Also hosting quizzes and running quiz leagues on other sites.

Reading, watching TV, listening to music, gambling... The eldritch word "multitasking" rears its ugly head. I believe it means doing lots of things badly simultaneously.

Often: all of the above.

How odd, I thought drinking was a sine qua non for posting on here. It's a fundamental assumption. And those who don't are dry drunks who wish they did. Or will become as the rest of us. There are no exceptions.

Actually I retired 18 years ago, at a surprisingly early age. Well, it surprises me now. I got rather "merry" on Sunday on Sunday due to a financial transaction that means I don't have to return to the brutish world of work. And I've never claimed benefit of any kind. Principally because I'm too lazy to see if I qualify for anything. And the amounts are probably too small anyway.

I'd do a better job than any government minister. But that wouldn't be hard.

Might go home about 2pm and have a beer and a swim.

My eldest daughter is somewhere near you. Hope she does better.

Though I'm not knocking your lifestyle, particularly.
