My flat roof on my extensionn was leaking quite badly after all the recent rain. Got a bloke round to have a look, I already feared the worst. Yup - it needs a completely new roof, the underlying wood was like soggy matchsticks. He came round today and has quoted me £800 (cash) the whole job including the boards etc.
Is that reasonable? Extension is about 12x6. Company is a professional looking outfit (got number from one of those checkthetrader leaflets.)

10 year guarantee. 15 & 20 year cost more/. I suggested cash in my negotiations, save on the paperwork and all that ;)
I got a sloping roof to replace my flat one. Can you do that?
