reported on itn news.
100% kids should not have been left alone , no doubt about that regardless of reasons.
however i am annoyed at the report.
says the kids were living in squallor.
i seen the kitchen , looked like any other house with 3/4 kids when they arent expecting hello magazine. certainly not squalor.
and focusing in the footprints in the babymilk , yes its horrible but whats the point on focusing in that?
and chairs put in front of cupboards while the children scavenged for food. feck me , makes them out to be feral children.
yes im sure they were hungry but hardly about to drop dead of starvation.
then baby covered in pish and vomit.
yes thats what happens when a child doesnt have nappy changed.
all made out to be strange occurrence, thats what would happen , we all know that.

so my point is , why would any of this be relevant?
the facts have been overlooked , the children should not be left alone.
why focus on her class?
not too long ago a load of doctors did the same thing and left a load of kids in a flat in a foreign country.
would appear to me that the facts have been overlooked to make prejudices on the young girl because of her class.
why not just report it ?

Whenever I see a report about a mother who has left her children alone, I always wonder why nobody mentions their father.

because that's very reasonable since Mother's have the rights to children and Fathers don't have any rights at all unless the court says so

if the mother smokes - then the kids are better off being left alone

she was a single mother , i presume the father was absent and not involved.
seems she got drunk and left the kids.
awful , you cant describe how wrong that is.
but the reporting of it just really narked me , seemed to be a class thing or a smug bit of told you so , they are all like that those benefit scroungers and heres the proof.
just fecking report the thing and omit the insinuation.

Stevie, when I started reading this I thought I was going to have to argue with you as I didn't know what way you were heading.

Absolutely agree mate 100%. In fact what the others did was an awful lot worse. This girl, I'm not trying to excuse her behaviour, but single mother with 4 kids. You can see how she must have been feeling the pressure and needed to get out for a while. Like I said not trying to excuse it.

Leaving your child while you go to a restaurant whilst on a foreign holiday? Nobody has said a word to them. It is a disgrace.

the children survived so the book can be thrown.
nothing is more painful for the mongrels in the media than a missing person. the masses will not be behind them

im only using the mccann case as everyone knows it.
however how many "wealthy" people must get tore into the vino at 8pm and be a bit incapable of parenting by 2am.
im sure it happens a lot , but because they are in a different class it seems a one off incident , a mere lapse of sensibility.
yet the way this came across , this girl and all like her are at this 24/7

well missp, what I said, I think it's actually quite valid, don't you not think?

but of course there are exceptions

would you like to explain your case?, I understand it can be private

checking on children every 1 to 2 hours, or leaving them alone for the night is a totally different story

Parents divorced, father got custody. It happens, when appropriate.

single mothers cannot be trusted with money
give them vouchers for food
make sure there's no booze or fags available - or worse
and tie up their tubes at the first birth

can't see where class is mentioned and doesn't really come into it, just a bad mother however old she is whatever drugs she takes, job she has or home she lives in.

I certainly hope it was appropriate for you missp

did the situation give you a view over women regarding children?

clarkson, it's clearly obvious that it's a class thing

the rich parents in Portugal that didn't give a toss about their child, even managed to raise 1 million pounds from the British public to look after themselves

what a joke

clarkson. thats what im saying , it doesnt matter about any of those things.
yet in this report on itn at 10pm they made obvious insinuations that she was a typical single mother on benefits.
that this seemed to tie up the reasons why anyone would leave their children alone.
i mentioned the mccann case as they also left the children unattended whilst drinking.
yet , it wasnt insinuated that all middle class doctors do this every night.
they were putting class into the report and using that as the reasons this event occured.

for all we know, the mccanns could be untidy bints, but the press won't bother with that

only that they could afford to eat at a tapa's bar, with 4 other doctors, surgeons, anaesthetists....

this is a worse case of neglect than what the mccanns did from reading about it. i am not saying the McCanns were not neglectful becasue they were but this was worse given the fact she did not come home until 10.30 next morning 9when they obviously woudl all be awake by then) and she had a baby amongst the kids who needed feeding.

She is clearly not a fit mother
