hardly use it, had 1000 limit but only use 2-3 hundred and always pay back in full when due, but just got a letter reducing limit to 250. cant work it out credit rating good, 250 no good for me so want to apply somewhere else. |

credit card ok just for emergencies, dont see a point for them apart for that

all the major credit card companies have (in the main) slashed peoples limits in recent months/past year due to reducing their potential liabilities. ill hazard a guess you have a barclaycard or an hsbc card...

MBNA just cancelled my card with a £32000 limit. No appeal, nuffink.

had same thing happen to me billy, as did my sister. slashed my limit from £2k to £450 :s

surly that is making things worse for some people rather than better, i was going to use mine for xmas presents

i cancelled my credit card the other day so i could stay on my old rip off rate, rather than the new one.. so pleased with myself as i've had it 6 years, always tried to pay it off but kept using it, but impossible now :D
