i have just been accepted for one of these things. my credit is pretty crap so have decided to accept even though its a high interest rate. has any one else got one and whats there experience with regards the company. or am i the only one with a dodgy history.
private - i had bad credit for a while. Vanquis gave me a card. stupid APR rate, but fine if you pay back every month. Show 12 months of full payments, and you will soon be able to get a normal card.
dont expect much more that £250 limit, but thats fine if your only using it to rebuild your credit like i did.

i had one decades ago, they increased my limit to about 2k eventually. they are right bar stewards for interest and charges. i used to get charged two lots of £25 just for being 1 day late with my payment even though id sent the cheque ages before i supposedly needed to. obviously you cant do owt, no way of proving when they got the cheque in the post unless you send it recorded delivery. which would mean going to the flippin post office. after a few of these weird shenanigans i cancelled the thing. i
t would be ok if you paid in a provable way like internet banking and paid the lot off every time, but you need to be sure you can. and if you are sure you can, why do you need credit?? if you just need the card cos some places demand a credit card, then go ahead. if you actually need credit, its not a good idea getting that card.
