flight from leeds bradford to nantes, may 2010. name change will cost £100 with ryanair so I'm going to get next to nothing for it, but what is the best place to advertise it?

I know, such is life

I'd rather walk than give that cnut o'leary any of my money.
Report STUDYFORM November 14, 2009 9:39 PM GMT
thing is you can buy the flight for a couple of quid anyway (unless its within a couple of weeks) I went Liverpool to Nantes for £2.50
Report STUDYFORM November 14, 2009 9:43 PM GMT
just looked it up - leeds to nantes may 17th is only £4.99 + Taxes anyway. It will probably be less too, nearer the time.
Report punterfleecer November 14, 2009 9:44 PM GMT
how much are the taxes these days for plane flights?

yes I know I work for hmrc but I don't know
Report STUDYFORM November 14, 2009 9:46 PM GMT
Very often ryanair flights are without taxes - I don't know how they do it.
But I have flown 4 times this year to different countries, and 3 of those with one of my kids, and the whole lot has cost me less than £100 total.
Report punterfleecer November 14, 2009 9:48 PM GMT
is it cos they're Irish?

maybe it's to do with that.........I better start looking at Ryanair flights in future!
Report STUDYFORM November 14, 2009 9:49 PM GMT
I can tell how how to get an Electron card, if you do.
(without one it's £5 per person per flight booking fee)
Report Ronaldinho's dentist November 14, 2009 9:49 PM GMT
try booking that flight for £4.99
Report G1_Jockey_4 November 14, 2009 9:50 PM GMT
why did you change your name?
Report punterfleecer November 14, 2009 9:51 PM GMT
just checked, they do , do taxes

flight from glasgow to london, £13 before taxes and £80 after taxes + "online check-in, whatever that is"
Report evski November 14, 2009 9:52 PM GMT
ryanair are discriminated against by governments because their flights always seem to be subject to twice the tax that easyjet are.
Report punterfleecer November 14, 2009 9:53 PM GMT
I don't like Irish companies anyway, they were in the axis in the second world war, disgusting
Report STUDYFORM November 14, 2009 9:55 PM GMT
I've flown loads with them RD - As long as you book about 3 weeks to 2 months in advance, most flights are that cheap.
I went to Cork for £1 - and that was ALL I paid, Katowice for £2.50. Nantes for £2.50. Faro for £20.

And I didn't pay a penny more.

if you look hard enough in the T&C's you may have the option to change the dates, (not the names), for much less than £100. I have done it twice both times had to insist with customer services that I was correct. worth a look. if you can change it is any departure date within 12 months of the origional booking date.
Report Jim Hensen November 14, 2009 11:17 PM GMT
other option is nearer the time they often change the flight times a little. tell em you cannot make it and will rebook.
Report Ronaldinho's dentist November 14, 2009 11:46 PM GMT
dont want to re book, I wont be going
Report Dan Chipowski November 14, 2009 11:49 PM GMT

Ronaldinho, was that typo in the title made on purpose or did you just have other things on your mind while on bf? :D
