Ocean village.... Caribbean. Thats the one you did isn`t it?
By:
yeah! wish i was going :(
Now ocean village is a bit different than most cruises as in you eat, drink, sleep and wear when/what you want and non of those formal evenings where you have to get suited & booted. There's no need to tip although at the end of the hol we tipped are favourite waiters with one off payment. It's best to try and arrange most of the trips yourself and you'll save yourself loads...i'm just looking for your itinarey.. |

barbados - at sea - tobago - isle of margarita - st lucia - grenada - st vincent - barbados - at sea - tortola - st maarten - st kitts - antigua - dominica - barbados - manchester......northwich
of those listed we didn't go to tortola, st maartin, antigua & st kitts and went to aruba, bonaire, venezuella, mayreau and curacao instead, i know thats five i went to against the four i havn't on your trip because we didn't go to barbados 3 times |
By:
Did you manage to take booze onboard?
By:
i say try and book your own trips because when we went to tobago a trip to pigeon point which is a glorious picture postcard beach would of cost us over £40 if we'd of booked on the ship but by getting off the ship and arranging it ourselves it cost $10 each for the mini bus and $3 to get in
By:
Yeh, we`ve got an idea of the trips we want to do so will just try and get a taxi/bus at port for most of these. Ta.

Your not allowed to take any booze on board and if your caught it will be confiscated, what the girls that were with us did was to buy a big bottle of water and then after drinking the water they'd fill it with vodka and they got away with that all holiday........ps i'm not saying your into drugs but if you get caught trying to smuggle on a bit of gear you and your group will be thrown off the ship, two of the girls with us used to work on the ship and said they'd seen it happen many times
By:
barbados is awesome and you can walk from the ship into bridgetown and then onto the beach,
dominicas a little different as in you'll probably be best going to trafalgar falls which again cost $10 each for the minibus and $5 entry...probs about £40 if you book it on the ship |

st vincent is a bit of a let down as specially as they use it as an overnight stop, you have a choice of a kfc or a small bar which does kareoke, in the day time i'd take a trip to another island ie youngs island is pretty relaxing and has a bar 50 yards out to sea where you can slowly get comatozed....very expensive this island was though
By:
st lucia is a bit more commercialised than most but the beaches are great altho busy..
grenada was somewhere we only did the beach, isle of margarita is somewhere worth planning a trip for as the local beach was caque although there was an interesting market which was very cheap.. there's lots of places you can go swimming with dolphins aswell which is worth trying although it's not cheap £100, we did this in curacao but they'll do it elsewhere |

Thanks a lot mate, can`t wait now!!

By:
bet you can't, i wanted to go again but the ones that went last year can't afford it and then after getting a group of people interested in my local who all jibbed out when i was going to book it, enjoy :)
