Got to be my fave clip from a film along with the Lee/O'Hara scrap in Enter the Dragon.

Surely it must be during the brawl scene between Wayne and Maglagen in the Quiet Man where they pause for a pint to discuss like two old mates what a great fight they are having. Then they start arguing about who is going to buy the round and Victor chucks his pint over Wayne. To which Wayne leans over to enquire the time of the barkeep and promptly knocks Maglagen through the saloon door and into the street.

i think the film is called true romance were the dad is about to be tortured to tell the mob were is son is and he then explains how italians are decendants of africans,never saw it coming.

gazo , thats a great great scene. i must agree also with the rooftop scene in shawshank. perhaps my favourite scene is in l.a confidential when captain dudley smith asks sergeant exley about rollo tomasi - brilliant understated acting. i love the prairie scene in unforgiven when munney and logan discover the kid is very shortsighted. or what about the train scene in some like it hot when marilyn monroe hops in with jack lemon . sugar ( marilyn monroe ) "is there anything i can do ? " daphne ( jack lemon ) " i can think of a million things " lol brilliant ! every scene in casablanca is special but one that always gets me is in ricks cafe when the germans are outsung by la marseillaise. and before i finish hoffman and voight s bus journey to miami in midnight cowboy , nillson singing everyones talkin - fantastic !

The most passionate scene must be Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr on the beach in From Here To Eternity. My favourite comedy scenes are mostly from Life Of Brian - "Welease Woderwick", "He's not the messiah - he's a very naughty boy!" spring to mind. Also the scene from The Blues Brothers where Jake's ex wife blows up the building they are in and everyone just emerges from under a pile of bricks. Honourable mentions to the final scene of The Sting, Steve McQueen jumping fences on his motorbike in The Great Escape and Cheif dissapering in to the distance at the end of Cuckoo's Nest.
