should it be people? and why do we have 'loads of people in a shop (undefined though it could be Greggs) rather than 'loads of persons'?

and how far down do you own your house, is there an official border downwards?

all nicked off the radio but I quite liked them. Ignore if that is your wont

Persons is the polite/formal form of people i think.

I imagine you could dig all the way to the centre of the earth if you wanted. Bit hot though.

all the meridian lines travel north to south and diverge at the poles.

so - if i walk the greenwich meridian north to the pole i stay on greenwich time

if another stands on another meridian - say in the states - and walks north on that line - he is always on his time zone - say 6 hours behind me on my greenwich meridian line

so what time is it when we both meet at the pole ?????

You only own land if others allow you to. Been the basis of quite a few wars.
