all the meridian lines travel north to south and diverge at the poles.
so - if i walk the greenwich meridian north to the pole i stay on greenwich time if another stands on another meridian - say in the states - and walks north on that line - he is always on his time zone - say 6 hours behind me on my greenwich meridian line so what time is it when we both meet at the pole ????? |
