Report puntersmate.net November 11, 2009 9:51 PM GMT
I think you need to get rid off that

Let me have a look

That figures!!! its part of AOL are they your internet provider? obviously updating, will be tempory, usually happens after boot up,AOL are known system hogs
Report SIR DEREK TROTTER November 11, 2009 9:53 PM GMT
yeah im on aol ,there is loads of stuff on that list that i dont have a clue what it is but i dont wanna delete it coz i might fook it up lol
Report ROCKIN HORSE November 11, 2009 9:56 PM GMT
no never delete from processes, unless you know exactly what it is,your computer can shut down right away with the wrong process closed down
Report puntersmate.net November 11, 2009 9:58 PM GMT
Seems to be quite a common problem, rocking horse
Report SIR DEREK TROTTER November 11, 2009 9:59 PM GMT
its a pain its gone really slow these last few months
Report ROCKIN HORSE November 11, 2009 10:01 PM GMT

Report puntersmate.net November 11, 2009 10:03 PM GMT
Derek do you use AOL to browse the internet ?
Report SIR DEREK TROTTER November 11, 2009 10:05 PM GMT
yes
Report puntersmate.net November 11, 2009 10:09 PM GMT
You do know you don't have to, you can disable the AOL updater and use IE

AOL are only your service provider
Report SIR DEREK TROTTER November 11, 2009 10:14 PM GMT
yeah ive used internet explorer but my email address is @aol.com so its easier to just be on aol all the time , with ebay and stuff..

if i cancelled aol alltogether is there any way i could still get my emails or is this not possible ?
Report SIR DEREK TROTTER November 11, 2009 10:15 PM GMT
without changing my email add of course

this explains AOL e mail via another supplier
Report puntersmate.net November 11, 2009 10:20 PM GMT
It's not an issue mate, you don't have to cancel AOL
All you have to do is stop all the AOL updates and use IE

You will still be able to log on to AOL for emails
Report ROCKIN HORSE November 11, 2009 10:21 PM GMT
If you're on a computer with less than 1GB of RAM and less than 2GHz of processor power you may encounter problems with AOL slowing down your computer and Web browsing.

Browsing the Web with an AOL desktop client will be slower than browsing with IE, or Firefox, or Safari for Windows, or Opera, no matter how powerful your computer is - in my experience, anyway. Your mileage may vary.
