Have you noticed that every centenarian you see being interviewed on the telly, like the last WW1 soldiers, all look absolutely ancient?
You never see a 100 year old who looks like 70. They all look their age. |

They all attribute their longevity to eating porridge, or drinking a small whiskey every evening.
Massive chore imo - microwaving porridge. I'd rather drop at 99 knowing my breakfasts were quickly made and quickly eaten. :) |

yeah unless they can reverse the physical ageing process no end of heart/hip/lung/liver transplants will make it any better post 75ish! What would a 200 yr old person look like anyway?? Another interesting stat was that the number of people over the age of 100 in the Uk will increase from 12k today to 250k within the next 30 years

I dont see much point living beyond 60. If you haven't seen it or done it by then, its not worth doing.
Plus you wont have to worry about a pension. |

I saw a program about people who were over 100, there were a couple that could look after themselves and looks no' bad as in looked 70/80
but there were a couple of bad ones, there was one that was 110(from america), and her eyes were almost completely sunken into her eye sockets, (time for her to go), funnily at the end of the show, it said that the 110 year old woman died a couple of weeks after production of that show |

well in that programme, they were black americans, the 110 year old had 4 or 5 generations after her
there was a big birthday celebration for her, and she looked ridiculous cos these silly americans gave her a silly haircut that was suitable fora 30 year old she didn't really know what was going on etc |
