Remove/Loosen a fuse in their fuse box (If outside the house). . Takes folk ages to figure out!!
Have a polite word
Spray loads of air fresheners/deodorants/perfume/stink bombs/anything smelly all the time

i heard the fella speaking on the phone in his garden, saying how he's ripping his company off, by ordering extra parts and selling them.. so tempting to report him, but just doesnt feel right.
his wife is always (at about 6pm) "WHAT THE F ARE YOU DOING, F'ING GET IN BED etc etc" to her kids
god she is so common(im not posh by any means) shouts out the window to her other neighbours talking having a laugh making herself heard

Seriously feel for you. I think this problem is not given the amount of attention it deserves from the law.
Until recently the apartment beneath mine had a group of young guys in there, all worked in takeaways / restaurants and every night doors would slam, music play, arguments break out etc.
Almost immediately i went down to say hi, and tell them that floors are thin and to be considerate but after a brief lull it went back to normal. I'd bang on the floor etc and things would die down but was always short term. I wrote to the lease hold / maintenace company, and their landlord but nothing improved.
One night after coming back from the pub (alcohol fuelled i dare say), a commotion kicks off in their flat. This time i went straight to their door and threatened them with violence, i must've looked totally deranged cause i was dressed only in boxer sorts and t-shirt. At this point i'd have taken a swing at David Haye so wasn't too concerned about being heavily outnumbered or that 1.01 was trading on me losing badly, but i was seething. Within 2 weeks, they had left.
Now, a normal couple are in there and we get on great. I didn't realise it but a whole depression which had clouded me for months suddenly lifted. When i see people getting murdered for being noisy, you can't condone it, but i can certainly understand it.

Put some rats through their letterbox in the middle of the night.
If they have a garden, phone the police and say you saw them burying a body out there.
Phone a local funeral director and tell them you wish them to visit, giving their name and address.
Report them to Childline
Tell the local drug baron your neighbour is hoarding cocaine.
All good fun :)

This morning (about 3.35am) the person next door was shouting goodbye to his mates as they left his flat. THEN, the guy above me started with his TV full blast at 4am. The thing is that I actually put industrial earplugs in my ears to block this noise out. I could still hear it through them.
I can seriously see myself going absolutely berserk one night with them. I'm mild mannered and don't like to cause friction but when something builds up inside me for so long, I'm always liable to explode.
An incident the other night involved my next door neighbour and friends chasing each other around the communal hallway whilst sticking their fingers up their backsides and wiping it on each other! No lie. I had headphones on at the time and wondered what was going on so I had a peep through my doors spy hole only to see my neighbours mate putting his hand down the back of his pants and start chasing my neighbour. Nice eh? :)
Enough is enough. Anyway, email sent to my landlord this morning. We'll see what comes of it.
