If you buy a TV with build in Freeview does it just need electricity to show terrestial tv + the other free channels or do you still have to plug it into the ariel in a house?

Still needs an aerial.

Standard, indoor aerials aren't good enough. With one, you'll receive the BBCs and ITVs as usual, but channels such as VIVA, Dave, E4 and Sky Sports News might by jumpy.

Best to feed in cable from an outdoor aerial (if this is for a bedroom, for example).
