back to dylan's christmas album - 120 reviews on amazon - 44*5 star, 41*1 star - it is certainly dividing opinion...
my theory is that if you love dylan, you will love this album...i am not sure of the 41 who gave it 1 star - i assume they are casual fans expecting something else, but to me it is EXACTLY what you should expect a dylan christmas album to sound like he seems to have fun, and even if you have heard better versions of probably all of these songs, the experience of listening to all 15 in a row is well worth it... :) |
