Had one for nearly a year. Perfect. Best £280 I ever spent.

Saw the ad last night, £239 is the best price I've seen. Buy one!

i have 2, well one of them is with the daughter.

Wonderful bit of kit, i even have sim city 4 running on it.

You're daughter came with a NC10? Was this at PC world or an online offer?

Was the best netbook a year ago.

Better ones now with much, much better ones coming in January.

you can now get a 9 cell battery that lasts over 12 hours.

It props the back end up about 10mm so angling the keyboard towards you.

i have the 6 cell, makes it a lot heavier.....

If you put a 6 cell instead of the normal 4 cell in an MSI Wind it topples off your lap, so I'm told.

I don't see the point of them -- apart from the portability.

i dont see the point of a laptop.

I have a netbook as a back up to my full sized laptop. I haven't switched the laptop on in months.

I sold my laptop 7 months after buying my NC10 as it was just gathering dust.

I bought a Samsung N310 a couple of months ago.

Use the Amazon.com site and you get the US spec model which has a far better battery than the UK. Only $349.

They are too small for me all round and no disc drive,have a 15.5'' screen now,would like a 17.

That's a compaq, Sid. Samsung is a lot better for and extra score.

I went the opposite way, got rid of my notebook for a 20'' vaio, so much faster, clearer but only about 3 hrs battery :)

don't know if it is any better or worse
than the samsung, the screen looks very good imo. just don't know
none of them look carp tbh.

just get a sammy.

In comparative reviews the NC10 always beats the Dell.
