Richard Littlejohn presented it. 2 contestants went on the run for a week and an ex sas or soemthing had to try and track them. everyday they were not seen they won 1000, then on the final day of the week (show night) they had to go to a public telephone box and stay there for an hour. During the hour they gave a live video link back to the studio and if any of the public shopped them and the sas guy caught them the member of the public won the money.
Vague memories of it all but very unique with a disaster of a host. Wonder if they ever considered doing something like this again? Would it work with the mass use of mobiles, internet etc... what would be the drawbacks?

i thought that was called interceptor...although that maybe a similar format show?
think that was something similiar on another channel, with annabel croft (not treasure hunt) but something similiar and the contestants wore back packs that the interceptor had to fire at..
you get aload of fat people from the inner city and make them throw each other out of a chalk drawn circle...cheap to make, you can do it in a pub car park etc. :-)
I remember it. I don't remember Littlejohn presenting it though, wasn't it an ex MTV presenter- Ray Coia?
It was a great show though, completely different to the usual game shows on TV. I imagine it was a b1tch of a show to produce though what with it being live.
