10 quid? He was lucky to escape with his life.

And that lanky, four-eyed piece of fuuck hadn't cleaned them either. The only leathering seen on my premises today was the one that I meted out to that bamboozling bullsheeter.

Have you a garden? Have you cleaned the inside lately? How could you tell in darkness. What makes you doubt his honesty?

Check for ladder marks in the garden, always a giveaway.

When I was a lad ---
Window cleeaners rode bicycles and came with ladder and bucket on their shoulders. They were pretty lowly paid - as they should be.
My last window cleaner bought a brand new car every year and holidays in Goa - when he tried for £7 I, and many neighbours, sacked him. Not seen him in this area since.

:(

Would you do it?
Or are you simply too good and above all that?
Report Ovalman. • November 6, 2009 3:34 PM GMT
Nowt wrong with a decent window cleaner ;-)
Report Ivor • November 6, 2009 6:02 PM GMT
No - I wouldn't do it, and neither do I rate it on a par with teachers and nurses and police and fireman and postman and many thousands of other roles in society.
Report Ovalman. • November 6, 2009 6:13 PM GMT
So what would be a fair hourly rate a window cleaner should earn?
Report bin it • November 6, 2009 6:15 PM GMT
£1.23

Report themightymac • November 3, 2015 10:40 PM GMT
Most window cleaners put a ticket through one`s door, "Your windows have been cleaned", when no one is at home and call back later for payment.

£10 is cheap. Hard job cleaning windows.

hard job?give me a break you must be on a wind up.this guy was obviously embarassed when i queried the amount of effort he'd put in.as for payment he'd somehow got the mrs to pay a £20 dd every month, now cancelled.
