what a grim affair :(

Parents whose children may have been abused by nursery worker Vanessa George will be allowed to choose to find out if they were victims, a judge has said.

why would it be best for a child to know they were abused if the nonce is already behind bars ?
Report The Magic Flea November 6, 2009 2:19 PM GMT
I think the child knows it was abised
Report madsimon November 6, 2009 2:20 PM GMT
what at 18 months??
Report The Magic Flea November 6, 2009 2:21 PM GMT
we do not know what happened exactly, but you would want to know as a parent and if it is something that can scar the child, seek appropriate help

indeed flea...sounds sensible.

I reckon they will want to know so that they can then sue someone. Presumably the nursery owners carry public liability insurance? It's the age we live in.

good point overboard but in this case they would be entitled.

only for parents pain and suffering. arguably no damage done to the little mites. Maximum claim when you lose a child is usually around £3500 I believe-----which a lot of people fail to understand. The real payouts are for loss of earnings when someone like a sugeon gets run over and killed.
How on earth can money compensate anyway? It's just the way we are all being encouraged to feel by the claims companies and similar filth.
