just moved house andhave a wireless router in one room and my pc - without wi-fi - in another. I know I need a usb stick-type thing which works like an antenna to pick up the network but what's it called?

Older ones dont have it built in Ron, Amazon sell them from £6 upwards, TP link ones are good.

ours, you can get them cheap but if its in another room you might want to get one that's got a nice antennae on it if reception might be any sort of issue, versus the tiny ones with a little antennae inside. They are neat though if reception is strong but I know myself my bedroom has a sh*t reception and they'd be useless.
Search amazon for say usb wifi **antennae** and you'll see the sort I mean. They are still cheap.
