what do you mean already they started a week ago
For the night. Annoys ** out of me. Seems second it gets dark some div is out upsetting my dogs.
hate them. But at least they finish at a reasnoable hour, or at least should do. When must they stop? Is it 10pm?

Just started here too, it's 8 in the morning ffs...
I live about 1/4 mile away from where B'ham City Council hold many concerts, bonfires and celebrations of lots of Religious festivals, namely Cannon Hill Park
All of these end with massive fireworks displays and tbh if you're there some of them are spectacular.
But if I stay at home, all I get is the Boom, Boom, Boom of the music bass followed by what seem like an hour of explosions.
What can I say, I hate the noise :( but it's great watching the free displays :)

I don't know what it's like down South but in Scotland they start a week before and go on for about a fortnight after the 5th Nov. W.ankers the lot of them.

I moved to the Gaza strip to get away from all the racket.
Not this year.
Normally we have fireworks for a solid fortnight from a bit before Diwali to a bit after Guy Fawkes.
This year has been very quiet. My newsagent says he's only made one big sale, and the regional rep says he's never known a Diwali as bad as this one for firework sales.

We had a burst just after 11 last night. Lasted about 5 minutes. Came from a house diagonally opposite mine, no kids.
