Good luck to you both next week I know you both enjoy and understand your racing, the news of Gallopin yesterday has taken a big part away but it will still be a brilliant week.

Kind words Jimnast & the same to you. Galopin was the star of the show despite his early season setbacks after C.Hill defection.

You might know the answer to this I got an email about next years membership saying the insurance bar will be restricted to just over 500 do you know what it is now ? There must be 700-800 across the whole area I would think. Either they are restricting the Insurance bar next year to the new 540 Insurance bar members only or they will be still be selling individual badges for festival days. How would that work and would you be able to buy with cheapest membership or for guests? I’ll ask at membership desk when I’m there. Not sure they’ve thought it through. Are you there all next week ? |

By:
Yes travelling tomorrow hibore there all week first year on level 3 was when remittance man won the arkle ,great seats but to many up there as it happens I’m not bothered about getting to the bar use to have a drink when that little bar was there near the betting shop.

That little bar in Hills was very convenient. Although they only sold Guineas in cans.

No Saxon the bar I meant was on level 3 members but I had some of my happiest times at the festival in the Kirsten bar it was a laugh a minute before racing I was once interviewed there by German television on the opening day of the festival and told them the best bet of the week was Jamie osbourne to be leading rider of the meeting which he was
At the time I didn’t know it was German tv it was only a few weeks later my grandma who lived in Germany saw it and told me |
