Hi all, took a look at the festival handicaps and found something very interesting, do you know that Dan Skelton who likes the odd handicap plot has lots of entries in all the handicaps excluding one, that's right, in just one festival handicap he has just one horse entered, the race is the Ultima on the first day and the horse in question is Holy Joe Smoke. He is the stable's only in that handicap and off a mark off 131 its questionable as to whether he will get in, he would probably need a 5 or 7lb penalty to be sure. Low and behold he is second favourite for the big race on Saturday at Kempton which was the old Racing Post Chase, should he win that he gets his penalty, is sure of a run and will be 10-1 or less for that race even allowing for the competitive nature of the Ultima. He also has run three times this season and all \t Cheltenham and all are decent form, indeed take a close look at the form of those races and you will see its extremely solid form which may have gone under the radar. Its 25-1 non runner no bet, I have backed it and hopefully it goes and wins on Saturday and then gets in off a decent mark at the festival, please check out the form of his three races, see for yourself, the right stable for a plot also.
He,s an interesting horse Manuel,as mentioned above,is he a bridal horse?
Everything looks set for him to travel well later, plenty of pace in the line-up.
Added headgear as well, market normally accurate with this crew, especially just before the off.
Those early season form-lines also include some decent Irish horses, with both graded and handicap form since.
Fitness levels always a factor early doors, but the pace in those chelt handicaps normally solid.
Just a niggling doubt Aintree might be the plan, every chance today if given his head.
Can we concentrate on the horse only Brandy He,s an interesting horse Manuel,as mentioned above,is he a bridal horse?Everything looks set for him to travel well later, plenty of pace in the line-up.Added headgear as well, market normally accurate with
