Should have been there in the 1990s at Chipping Campden theatre where David Nicholson would have had Donald Trump running scared out of the building!

Just look on youtube, they all find their way onto there, watched the **** one so far, there is a Racehour, Matchbook, Tattersall's, Ladbrokes previews all on there now, Paddy's have one tomorrow night, that'll be on on there then along with the Betfair one....William hill with Luck, Mccoy, Geraghty I would imagine will be on there soon too.

Do you ever find if you watch em all , you are even more confused than you where before.

Yep!

Me too, but it's all part of the build up for me, gets the excitement going and I do think that amid all the noise you do get the odd bit of interesting info. There's one or two you pay a bit of attention to and Casey would be one for me and you just got the slightest inkling from him that Kopek Des Bordes wasn't the certainty many think he is and Jennings picked up on it too, I deffo think he rates Salvator Mundi as a chance to beat him.

Davy Russell 2008 Tiger Cry. Grand Annual.
After winning and before dismounting, stated “ah yes, a good result and 1 I could not mention on the Cheltenham preview circuit” |

yes Geoff ,those previews are ok to watch and each to his own but if I do watch them I try to keep an open mind and not absorb all the shyte and distraction of them .

If you want something decent to watch youtube had Patrick , Ruby and Paddy Power analysing Patrick's historical rides , starting with Cousin Vinny and including that Coral Cup defeat on Wicklow Brave (boo hoo ) . The comments are fabulous . A must watch .

I respectfully say there’s a few on this thread who don’t really need to be listening to pundits stating the obvious.

i tend to see them as entertainment and part of the build up. you might learn what goes where on an odd occasion however any tipping from those close to the horse are tinged by their own position of being too close to the horse with an unconscious bias and some will give nothing away anyway.
Nicholls article the other week where he mentioned the big double he landed in the past on Big Bucks and Kauto Star at the Cheltenham Festival to win £39k in 2009. At least one of these legs would have been an easy choice for anyone however i see it generally as a disadvantage just having the view on your own stable horses it must make you subjective in many ways. https://www.racingpost.com/news/festivals/cheltenham-festival/how-paul-nicholls-landed-a-39000-cheltenham-festival-gamble-plus-he-reveals-his-only-ante-post-bet-for-2025-aTCgu5q7bum2/ |

i have never seen it jimnast i tend to try to just make my own judgements but i would imagine it is very entertaining to watch
|
|
By:
Quite right to make your own Eric ,but this show is so funny and I’m not been sarcastic there it really is worth watching, whilst I’d heard of YouTube ide never been on it till around a year ago you can get it on there if you understand how it works.

By:
i think i might give it a watch thanks jimnast for the recommendation.
there is so much disinformation on here now especially from certain posters trying to sway markets anyone would be wise to ignore it all. i have been antepost’ing for 43 years now so am quite happy to use that experience instead. good luck at the Festival! |
