Hi Andy,
I’d guess Geno will be 4/6 or slightly higher. Bookies will take him on as second race of the festival. 6/7 runners with majority going handicap route. |

I think Gino would win the Champion Chase this year.

Real shame Geno is out and really hope he recovers fully.
Been catching up with the racing via YouTube as down under at the moment. Was surprised that Marlborough is now odds on as jumped like a cupboard most of the way round. Not sure what wins now as many plans will be changing as this is a very open race and I’d expect 10-12 runners will fancy they have a chance. |

I thought 8/13 was big, he got in close to a few and jumped others well IMO, I was listening to Daryl Jacob the other day and he reckons that Walsh purposely was getting him to fiddle and when he asked him he jumped fine, don't really agree with that, he seemed to ask him a couple of times and the horse put down on him but he never looked like falling.
Jacob also said that the Leopardstown fences are a lot stiffer than at the festival, he said the design of the cheltenham fences allows you to almost hurdle them. What has SG got left to beat? |

what's Majborough got left to beat I mean

Ted Walsh said years ago you could cycle a bicycle through them and with the woke mafia they're now easier

The Arkle has had a history of fallers though and some mistakes result in a fall no matter what they are jumping. They will be travelling faster than most of them will ever have done before.

Yes I did thought mares was too far and it's jumping was very good at cork and Exeter and can see it following the x and lau but whether it can get past the x I don't know but if I get a match with lau I would be all over it
