Domination not great for anyone except him…Even Elliot getting left behind….

Well Irish, after watching several online stable tour videos of his horses, and the way he spoke about some of them in such glowing terms, I returned after an abscence to Betfair, for some fairly heavy betting action.
Started with Stateman..then Lossiemouth..doubled up on Ballyburn, and then 50% stake on Fact or File...( no skill at all needed I admit ). However, today I'm deserting him....and my one and only chunky bet will be Teahupoo in Stayers. ( if that one comes in, I'm sure that I've actually died and gone to Heaven !) Good luck to you though ( except at half past three..lol ) |

He has a poor record in the handicap chases to overcome.
|
By:
He's hardly worried about that stront
|
By:
Perhaps not, but it's relevant if he's going to go through a card (Friday aside).

Teahupoo too short now for me to back in a competitive race , ( not that anyone cares )..lol

Never! Never! Never!

Only if he chooses to play the game and decides to disguise one or two of his graded horses in order to try and get them into handicaps off of decent marks, he doesn't do that though, they all run on their merits and some then end up in a handicap humping top weight, imagine if James Du Berlais had 10lbs in hand just then instead of the 12 stone he had to hump round.

Through any Festival totally? Never! Unless the day's programme has been framed for him. Until then and no matter how dominant and good a trainer Mr Mullins is that will never happen in my lifetime.

I know one thing
You will never get Henderson doing it ..... I reckon he could get an antepost favourite in every race on one day...... NOT TURN UP |
By:
75 horses he took over. Over and above his 9 winners he had 10 near losers all within five lengths of the winner
Phenomenal effort paid huge dividends. And he could conceivably be just as successful next year with the ammunition he's got. Well done Willie Mullins and all connected. Maughreen to come too! |

since the festival went to 4 days the racing has become less and less competitive . the extra races have diluted the fields and even top trainers like mullins the option to keep their"stars " apart.small field with umpteen odds on chances is now the norm and it seems a matter of time before a seller will be added,

Back to a 3 day festival with a few of the races that are killing the competitive nature getting binned will go a long way to solving a few of the problems.

A seller at Cheltenham when they have a world famous horse sale immediately after the meeting?
Some one said on here that they would much rather have these several extra, big-field handicaps which the "four days" bring than the fare elsewhere on a normal Monday. Didn;t fully get the point but maybe that is what they should do. Find a Monday somewhere to run these handicaps, because for me they don't do the festival any good whatsoever. |
