Looking a very poor race, even worse than normal.

the stars are aligned for Paisley Park who beat Champ, Klassical Dream and Home by the Lea in the World Hurdle last year. If Flooring Porter is on song he should beat him again but PP should be a strong second fav at least behind Flooring Porter. This set back swings things in favour of PP.

I agree it would be a boost for PP, a long time favourite of mine. However, Home by the Lee has come on leaps and bounds since last year's race and absolutely destroyed the field, including FP at Leopardstown last time out. If HBTL builds up a lead like that again, nobody will get anywhere near him. PP is on a downward slope, whereas HBTL is improving all the time. I know where my money is going, but I wish you and PP all the luck in the world. I notice 375 have dropped the price for FP, from 8s to 5s, since yesterday. '

Interesting to see that Gold Tweet's connections have paid the £14,787 supplementary fee for this one.

Betting suggests he is may well be a runner.
4 weeks ago I thought this would be a poor race. Looking quite competitive now!! |

Yean, Cromwell said he was back on track for this.
I haven't seen anything to beat Home by the Lee and don't understand why he is 7s in some books. Marie's Rock will probably run in the Mares Hurdle, Blazing Khai may run at all, Teahupoo is ground dependent and HBTL beat FP pretty convincingly, the last time they met. Klassical Dream is not going and the French horse, Gold Tweet, could be anything. |
