I have some "free" bets after Cheltenham - the ones where you can place a bet and should your selection oblige, you get whatever winnings there are but not your stake back.

If the goal, is to maximise the certain/probable return from these bets, what's the best strategy?! For example, if I have €100 in free bets, is there a way of betting which would mean that the likely net return is more than €80?.....i.e. I'd be happy with a €20 loss!

Yes - easy - make a cuppa and take a bit of time and find a price close to exchange price...as big as possible.

Maybe a boosted price (if you can use free bets).

Back the £100 at say 11 ...Lay say £85 at 11.50 .

The closer the price the more value you can extract.

Always best to churn freebies into cash first  , then use the cash for a proper bet, with stakes returned.

Thanks Johnny and Pete

So I guess my first move is the 2021 Champion Chaser?
