What a pathetic turnout? Only 4 engaged (at the moment). The leading players are Galopin Des Champs and Bob Olinger - jf at 'evens' - and El Barra and Busselton, the complete outsiders.

Really poor but that's a 4 day festival for you. Imagine when it goes to 5?

You don't need loads to make it a great race only 2 involved in the Clarence house

This is one occasion when number of runners is irrelevant.  It's a match between 2 great young horses.

It's going to be interesting what happens with Bob going forward, because this division is looking fierce, certainly going to be difficult for him if his jumping does not improve and I can't see him competing at the top level as things are at the moment, wouldn't fancy him much hurdling over 2 miles either as that division looks to finally emerge out of the doldrums.

Sir Gerhard, Fil Dor and Pied Piper next season with possibly nothing from Hendo and Nicholls again. Chickens!

With Henderson having nice novice hurdlers this season, in Constitution, Jon Bon, walking On Air and I am Maximus I will be sure he has some in the novice chases

I do understand. Jon Bon has the best chance but could be RSA or Stayers bound, I reckon.
