Well you got what you wanted... guaranteed p... poor prices making the Cheltenham antepost markets a laughing stock unless you have a negative IQ (NRNB backers)
Well done lads you slaughtered antepost and gave the bookies exactly what they want .... NO VALUE.
It used to be educated punter who loves racing against bookie who loves the game and wants to take people on. Knowledge vs knowledge. Now it is is line up dumb lemmings this way no discussion needed bookies holidays next week nobody cares.

They killed the game. Anyone interested in great horses left themarket and watch with nostalgia. Shame on you all enjoy your football lemming profits with no effort to offer a racing service of any discernible value.

Firstly get rid of public schollie Chapwit and replace him with someone who will question this utter cr@p. McCririck did that though many didn't like him.
Jimbo, Francome, Down people who cared about racing. So bad now Ed go promote anything ffs no passion about racing what a shower. Dis hars dat hars bring back intelligent discussion about great horses and for m on normal days not bookie reps. Utter utter garbage

I would ask the NRNBers to check in and explain their actions but they are not an ex-punter killed bby their own ineptness taking down intelligent punters with them.
They have left these shores only to destroy anything else in their path that might involve any form of thought (or work for a council)

I used to enjoy a few Guineas/Derby, Oaks a/p bets until about ten years ago when the trainers thought it best not to get some experiance into their 2yo.
Nowadays you have no chance as most have had just a back end run or a blow out before the races themselves. Seems the first time many of them are put to the sword is the classic themselves.
Not surprising fewer people are betting.
(I appreciate the thead is mainly about Cheltenham, just think the Flat is buggered as well)

barstool you are correct on most of the classics bar the 1,000 gns imo ,a small trend seems to be emerging ,may just be coincidence but a certain yard has won the last 3 years with horses with plenty of exp i.e 5 runs or more as 2yos in group company not nescarilly winning these races but placing or running well but looking just below top class at 2 but improving markedly over the winter to win the gns and being available at big prices ante post in the months leading up to the race because possibly they didnt fit the "profile"of typical gns winners therefore value could be had if this was recognised by the punter.

LOL. Good rant, Eric. I agree with all you say except you can't blame the sheep for following the NRNB flag. The most painful thing for most punters is the idea that you don't get a run - they haven't got the nous to understand value or to factor in the chances of getting a run.
It's actually quite clever of the bookies, even if you hate them for it.
If BF cared about the exchange any longer, they would put up NRNB AP markets (in addition to proper AP markets). It would take sophisticated punter and a sophisticated layer to get it right, but that's what we have on here. The Majors in golf (for example) have always been NRNB and they work OK.
