Davy has sat on the panel since the year Tiger Roll won the Triumph.  No one who has attended in all those years would agree with you.   Top man and speaks with good sense.

Definitely speaks good sense , I worship the fellah, but  he ain't in it for the punters mate. How many winners do you reckon he has given you over the years ? He is a very shrewd operator. Met him before his ride on Mengli in the plate , we asked him about Borice (the eventual winner) , not a word was spoke. Then there was the donkey derby at Galway greyhound track , had a great chat but never bothered to mention his galway plate winner the next day. Dont get me wrong, he is a lovely lovely man, you couldnt meet finer but like nearly all jockeys he knows who pays his wages.

He did let slip what he thought about Windsor Park the year it won the Ballymore, he was getting teased on one panel about having him stuck out the back and giving him too much to do in the Deloitte or something like that, and he said something like, wait till the festival, he won't be stuck out the back with too much to do then alright, don't you worry about that. It wasn't a jaw dropping reveal or anything like that but it was the way he was talking which was notable...anyway, he led all the way.Happy

Davy been very good over the years. If you go in with your own views/opinions and listen to how & what he says it can be very insightful. If on the other hand you turn up and just want someone to tell you what to bet then you will find little joy from any insider on any forum - that will be left to the "expert" tipsters !

Generally speaking you follow the money then cobra
Hate backing favourites myself
Big outlay snall returns
Would rather back an each way place at tens
Than a winning fav at 1\2.
