One of the best races at the festival
He has to go back to buena vista to justify his logic. Even though that was a repeat winner.
Everyone moans there’s no narrative through the season. Everyone moans horses avoid each other or don’t run enough.
At least the pertempts makes horses run and have to show their hand to qualify.
If they changed it to a 3 mile hcp no qualifiers then this would ruin the stayers race and reduce it to 7 runners.
Wish this guy would think before he opened his mouth.

Jennings states the race should be bAnned cos horses look to qualify by coming 5th and 6th.
Then mrs Milner wins last year who won its qualifier. Good job he’s a jovial nice guy or else he’d be hounded every time he stepped on a track. Presenting Percy also won its trial double handful. Does he do any research before writing a column or does he just write the first thing that comes in his head. |

Mrs Milner 4th P.Percy 5th in qualifying PP won a 2 1/2m hdl to go up in weights,both ran in leopardstown qualifer as did Sire du berlais but he qualified in Warwick so last 3 winner's ran in leopardstown

Clearly there are far more deserving cases to be made. Jennings just hangs on the coattails of Lynch. Racing Post could do themselves a big favour and just get rid. |
