" we the undersigned wish to rename the hitherto 'Cheltenham Festival'  to the 'Saint Patricks Festival'  on account of the lack of British winners, participation etc in the festval in the recent past "

Most of the prize money goes to owners so it would be interesting to see a breakdown of that. Rich Ritchie is American for instance, while in UK, the majority of flat horses are owned by foreigners. Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith are English, so depending on shareholdings, only around 30% of Coolmore prizemoney stays in Ireland.
