You wouldn't mind but they are better than 95% of the other "professional" jockeys

I for one, cannot back Mr P Mullins in a steeplechase. I think he is a tremendous bumper jockey, very useful hurdle jockey, but my money would be on NdB over him in a steeplechase even with a steering job. He just seems to get his stride patterns in a steeplechase badly wrong at critical moments imvho. Hope you are well Irishone. I am considering giving Envoi Allen some serious treatment in the Marsh for Der Mammy. What you think!

Looked well; slightly on toes; raced freely, tracked leaders, led 7th, still travelling strongly when fell 4 out (tchd 5/1)

That one particularly hurt, especially was very very seriously green for Der Mammy

This ought to be the end for "amateur" jockeys and races at the festival. It's not the 19th century any more. The opportunity should be taken to move on.

Every kid in every racing stable has that dream
You cut it off you lose the dream
You wont get the kids interested
Have to keep the amateur races in
No grass roots = no grass

re Nocturnal. I thought I would just leave a note before I disappear to finish off my Cheltenham studying. My poor Mother was run out of the North of Ireland during the troubles whilst visiting her sister, who had married someone from the North. She vowed never to return. You can hardly blame her. Especially after having her washing burned the day before. As regards to horse racing, good luck. I just like to see Irish horses win at any meeting in the world. More so at the Cheltenham Festival. Good luck with your festival wagers. Unfortunately, because of your post people will not be able to gain the insight that I have. As for your comment re my heritage, if you are Irish I am deeply sorry if I offended you. However it is okay for the British to malign us on a very regular basis sadly and if you are Irish, surely that should resonate with you. The Irish should always make a good example of themselves wherever they are in the world. The best export of the Irish is themselves. Once again apologies if my posts offend, but nothing personal hey!
