'The Dragon', concur if Champ bombs. Next best will be Santini (again); APT could be another Presenting Percy.

Ireland to win Prestbury Cup. Apologies for the short price NAP this year, but it is better then a building society rate in Engurlandshire after all.

As the OP says price is not a factor, Monkfish.

In Terms of Strongest chance of the festival. Envoi Allen has to be the call. Interestingly no one has nominated Shishkin or Honeysuckle. Who like Envoi Allen are both on long winning streaks. Good Luck whatever your Nap is.
|
|
By:
Shishkin/Honeysuckle have adversaries of the highest order. The others lesser or a penalty kick to some.

Well its a bit silly saying forget the price because that means you would more than likely go for the shortest price !!!!
Anyway one that i really fancy at a decent price is A PLUS TARD in the Gold Cup . A previous winner here albeit off 144 2 years back in a Novice Chase but he did win by 18L !!!! Last year he was well fancied in the Ryanair only to finish a 1L 3rd behind the 170 rated Min . If you watch that race back he did look like he was staying on again at the death suggesting 3m could prove ideal which was proven in his win at Leopardstown over Xmas . Only a 7yo and still massively unexposed over staying trips . The value in the race imo especially with question marks over many of the participants . Good Luck All . ![]() ![]() |

good write up zealot and i think he is the risk to ABP
regarding forget the price i think its a valid shout as i am trying to get the feel for what the forum thinks of the horse that has the best chance of winning at the festival despite how the bookies price them up |

APT was 66/1 pre lexus hardly value now, just wait on the day and bet Honeysuckle

Dragon - Always keep in mind Festival Form . Its amazing how many that finished in the first 4 the previous year run very well again . Just off the top of my head in recent years - Sire Du Berlais x2 - pacha du polder - early doors - Al Boum Photo - Rock The World - William Henry .
William Henry went of the 8/1jf in he 2018 Coral Cup off 151 and finished 4th beaten around 2L . Went up a few pounds and was back on 151 for the same race in 2019 - winning at 28/1 !!! Im sure Buena Vista done something similar many years ago but he won 2 races in consecutive years . Look out for these ones !!! |
