Shortened for the Marsh today. Who is backing it? After he got beat last time the trainer gave a steer that he would be going the handicap route. Surely that would make the most sense?

Some tipster on RFO free to view on RP site for some reason.
Imp probably seen it and afraid to post it.
Always waxing about some tipster or journalist that they should be listened to.
Put it up NRNB as far as I remember.

It is easy to pick against a dead cert. If the horse wins you are a genuis and if it gets beat, then you can say well the fav was a cert after all

It just looked on the right mark to me last time.  But the said piece (by James Hill) also tries to argue that Envoi Aleen is essentially exposed; that he only won the Ballymore because of a great ride etc etc.

It wouldn't be one for me.

Envoi Allen's best performance over hurdles was in the Royal Bond. I would say by some distance. He got a relatively poor ride in the Ballymore, but all of his runs suggest he is he is a horse who doesn't do much more than the bare minimum. His jumping is such that he isn't required to do anything more.
