french recruit for simon munir gone to willie mullins one run one win beat julies stowaway at punchestown over 2m 1 f  by less than a length ,wpm throws him in straight into graded company a this weekend at naas in the grade 1. 2 4 mile . lawlars of naas hurdle ,the sole wpm entry, willie has said we think he is up to grade 1 level  its a big step up in class but  you are taking on horses that have had one or two runs so that is not a worry , full comments in the racing post .33/1 for the ballymore atm i have had some of that, we will see more on sunday  sunday  could be a lot shorter or another bubble burst but thats the chance you take ante post ,in the right hands they seem to like him a lot and 33s each way will do for me .

willie and patrick have talked this blue lord up but on form its got a lot to find and stepping up to graded company  on the back of one run will have to be as good as they think it is .

Ashdale Bob is in the same race, so we should get a few pointers for Cheltenham

that wasnt a bad run considering he was so  keen, lightly raced room for improvement he is still a player imo. obviously needs to find a good bit but in the mix imo

A typically run Supreme will suit the horse better than a Ballymore, the pace will be quicker so there will be less of a chance he'll pull his chance away which is likely to happen in the longer race where they will go steadier.

yes i agree duffy ,wether wpm sees it that way is another matter, on his post race comments no mention of dropping back in trip ,maybe he will have a rethink though.

Yeh, have to  re Blue Lord and how much he pulled during the race.
If they can get him to settle and find the right race, he could still figure at the festival.
I decided to back him for Ballymore straight after the race nrnb.

Really interesting trial for the Supreme there.

Looked like a really strongly run Supreme could suit very well.

Mullins only ran him in the race today for a crack at the prize money (£75k) and it certainly looked as a longer trip would suit the horse better. So the Ballymore seems the obvious race.
