16s supreme bit too tight for me

7/1 triumph was 14/1 just after the leopardstown win.

One good run in a mickey-mouse race, bought by owner of ABP and Shishkin and re-stable to Mr Mullins and he's been elevated to 2nd fav ahead of Quilixios, Nassalam, Duffle Coat and Monmiral all with better form. I hope he takes in a proper race to cement his market position.

sounds a right mug when it comes to buying horses that owner impossible,by the way the micky mouse race he won was also won in recent years by sir erec we know what happened to him,mr adjudicator 2nd in that seasons triumph,ivanovich gorbotov who went on to win that seasons triumph hurdle.

True, but what was in opposition though? Any runner with solid form as the horses you mentioned that went on to win or run very well in The Triumph? None. Sir Erec had form behind Stradivarius.

i think with any race of that type impossible it takes a while to know how strong or weak the form is but historically its a good maiden.

to be fair a lot of elliotts good horses under performed at christmas so all in all probably the right fav at the moment ,but 14/1 french aseel after the race was also a very fair price.
