Surely the organisers could allow the GB team to join with the french and call it a european team ?

It will be much closer than you think Irish.

GB could have clean sweep of the Championship races as well. Not impossible...

Not biting. Just think 2/1 is a very good bet...perhaps the best value bet there is this year.

I've had a good bit on as well Mischief

Are you going this year ?

Whilst I would be amazed at a clean sweep of the championship races unless you mean just the 4 main races hibore I to think it will be much closer than the betting indicates.

I was including Ryanair tbh. The CH, CC, Stayers and Gold Cup is very possible but if you add in Ryanair it's unlikely but not impossible.

When you look at the races there are 9 - 10 races that the UK have very strong chances while Ireland have 10 - 11.

2/1 will be gone very quickly if we finish day one with 3 or 4 winners. Which I think they will...

Totally agree Ireland probably have the upper hand in the handicaps,I count championship as the 5 you mention both sun alliance races the supeme and the triumph plus Albert Bartlett and bumper.good grief I nearly forgot the arkle.

No foyleswar in fact last year was a tie

To be honest with you it’s not really a good idea to bet on this it can to an extent spoil the meeting.

The very idea of it, is an anathema to what Cheltenham's all about, for me.

Thanks bud it is pretty irrelevant in the context of the racing itself.

Quiet agree mate
It is though a bet people can have if they spot an opportunity to make money as my brother did last year.
Don't think he mentioned the bet until it dawned on him on the last day that the draw was very possible.
He just concentrated all week on the horses in each race he had backed,as he always does.

That's okay.

There's this thing called the Internet and something on it called 'The Googles' I think. It's like a big encyclopaedia where you can look things up in two clicks / five seconds / 63 i-phone re-charges.

You can even do this with one hand whilst doing something creative and Hunnish with the other.

Phenomenal performances from wm and ge. Not just the winners but almost every horse peaking on the week. Different class

Couldn’t agree more with MS.

Mullins and Elliott a class apart.

“Top” GB trainers - with the honourable exception of Henderson - look and learn (but deep down inside we know you won’t).

Yep, totally agree.
Different class from Mullins and Elliott.
Good to see Hendo producing again.
By:

When: 15 Mar 20 11:29
the brits still won 3 of the 4 championship races but in reality hendo  and to a smaller extent nicholls are the only ones with the ammo or nous to have confidence in this side of the water  the 2 you can be sure will have their horses ready on the day the others here dont seem to be up to it .
By:

When: 24 Mar 20 11:16
