I’m not sure if they still do this, but maybe five or six years ago, maybe a week or two before the festival began, Hills would give a massive price boast to a favourite at the festival for an hour or two. I generally backed these blind even if I didn’t fancy the horse, leave it 24/48 hours and then lay it off on Betfair once the market had readjusted back to similar to what it was beforehand. I noticed that pretty much none of these horses that they were laying at fancy prices went on to win at the festival so it was worth taking notice of these!
